><)))*> I want to thank all my family, friends and the rest of you that have giving me support to carry on. I have worked very hard to get where I am today. I enjoy what I have acomplished so far. I'm very competitive and have been all my life. I Managed a little league tournament baseball team for 14 yrs. From the time they was 4 till they were 17.. I do miss the BaseBall competition. It was fun an alot of hard work. Now I can concentrate on what I really love to do the most, Tournament fish!.. Its a New Year, I have Big Expectations for the 2013 Season. I am healthy again and went back to work on October 5th 2009. After a long three years of being in pain. Its still a Struggle sometimes just to get out of bed and start a new day. But I've have never givin up on anything and I'm not about to start Now, I'm No Quiter!
There's been many obsticals in the way the last few years. But I seem to always bounce back! Finishing in the Top 500 in the United States with the American Bass Anglers Weekend Touring Series. Qualifing for the ABA Nationals @ Kentucky Lake October 2-8. 2010 it was a great come back for me! But 2012 was the Best... I made it to the ABA Nationals at Grand Lake in Oklahoma under the top 200! Over the years I have fished against some of the best anglers in Missouri and it kept pushing me to get better at the Choices I made... I got started as a co-angler fishing with a buddy in local tournaments. I fished @ Blue Springs Lake, Lake Jacomo, Smithville Lake, Burtons Bait & Tackle and Rogers Sporting Goods. I did very well and turned to the pro boater side of the fishing trail in 1999. Fishing the Heartland Trail and the BFL Series.I have learned alot and still have much more to learn. Any day on the water is an experience for me. I learn something new everytime I put my boat on the water. To be a good tournament angler and have success on the water you have got to devote and commit 100 %. Some say its luck, I think it has alot more to do with skill and a little luck? Luck is for people who visit the gambling boats! Pull an pull the handles..... and hope to win! I've worked and still work very hard at what I love to do. I take the time to study Maps of the lakes I'm about to fish, and try to find what works the best in the situations I'm about to face! I do work a full time job and can't spend as much time on the water as I want! Unlike the other Pro's that fish for a living and spend many week days and hours on the lakes!
Special thanks to my partner and friend Dustin Turner This fish was Big fish of the year in the NBT Club an kept us in the top 10 standings for the NBT fish off where we finished 2nd. Dustin was a Hell of a Net Man part of the year but turned it on when it got Tough...! 2011 was a learning experience for him. This coming year we will do much better as a Team, as we learned from our mistakes So True! 2012 We won the NBT Championship. This year 2013 both of us have struggled? Money, Trucks, an life etc.. Have been an issue... I Feel, Myself we got a late start.. And I didn't get to throw any Jerk Baits?? That what seems to set the Intimidation and Confidence for a New Season... Dustin your an Awesome Partner! I want to be the net man!
Dustin Turner caught this 6.98 Toad on a
